Retrofit Air Conditioning System Installation

Air Conditioning Installation In Existing Systems

There are a number of ways to install a new central air conditioning system. The best one for you depends on your specific situation.

If you have an older home without heating duct work, the best option is likely a mini duct system. While traditional central air conditioning units use wide ducts, mini duct systems are easier to install if you also need to install new ductwork. However, mini duct systems also have the added benefit of being more energy efficient, working more quickly, and being quieter. Mini duct systems are also great if you have a specific problem area, like a finished attic, that traditional central air conditioning systems can’t seem to get cool.

If you are installing an entirely new HVAC system, you can also consider an all in one heat pump/AC style system. Heat pumps remove hot air while air conditioners add cool air, meaning there is less pressure on your air conditioning. This is especially energy efficient during the hottest days of summer.

Keep Cool. Lower Humidity. Keep Comfortable.

If you have a forced-air heating system, a traditional central air conditioning unit might still be your best bet. Considering the number of central air units we have available the decision could be overwhelming.

Fored air or "central air conditioning" systems move air throughout your entire home by a netowork of registers and returns. Air conditioning lowers the overall humidity in your home making the air easier to cool and you more comfortable. When a forced air system is accompanied by a quality air filtration system, regardless if you are using the heat or ac you'll also be improving air quality. Having a reliable HVAC technician that can service the entire system helps insure that your home’s heating, airconditioning, and air quality is top-notch all year round!
